Tear down the (fake) wall!

Upon discovering that there were good plaster walls hiding behind the hideous pumpkin orange painted wood paneling, we decided to rip said paneling down and have the plaster walls throughout. Dad and Anthony spent the better part of our second night as home owners ripping down the wood panels. I popped by with Norton (since mom was bowling, I think) and stepped into a tizzy of noise and bright teal walls. They were about halfway done when I'd gotten there, and half the wall was pumpkin, the other half bright 60's teal. As bad as it looked, it was twice as funny, seeing the massive contrast of the colors. I did have a 'twitchy' moment watching them rip the paneling off, and had to leave with the poochie, but really, they said it came down far more easily than expected. Well, except for 2 4 Ft sections that seemed to have been glued, where everywhere else it was nailed in. Weird.

Kitchen door/cabinets with TEAL plaster walls. If you look close, you can still see the pumpkin orange under the cabinets.
